Livin’ it! is a twelve page quarterly public newsletter from NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group (HMR CCG), which updates people on health and wellbeing information, latest news and gives residents the opportunity to have their say and get involved.
In this ‘new look’ edition, we bring you news of coronavirus local support helplines to help you stay safe and well, how GP practices have joined the digital age due to Covid-19 and how we are encouraging parents to protect children from flu this winter.
You will also find stories on Kirkholt Medical Practice welcoming artwork from a local school, how it is still very important to book your cervical smear if you receive a letter from your GP and how you can access mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people.
Dr Chris Duffy, Chair of Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group (HMR CCG), said: It has been a very difficult nine months for people and we are committed to providing local information and support for the residents in Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale. We are pleased to bring you the latest edition of Livin’ it! and welcome your feedback.
We understand that not everyone has access to digital information and if you would like to receive a copy of Livin’ it! please call 01706 664213 to be sent a copy. Our newsletter is a big part of feeding back on what we are doing and how we are continually trying to improve healthcare throughout the borough and raise awareness of local and national campaigns.”
The spring issue of Livin’ it! will be out in February 2021.
